v-connect wins Medilink NHS Partnership Award
Together with partners The Lister Hospital Stevenage and East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, v-connect has won the prestigious Partnership with the NHS Award at this year's Medilink Yorkshire and Humber Awards.
The Medilink Awards, held in partnership with the Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), celebrate the achievements of Healthcare Technology and related Life Sciences companies from across Yorkshire and Humber. The Partnership with the NHS Award is presented to a company for its collaboration with the NHS that has, or will have, a major impact or benefit on business performance or patient care.
v-connect was presented with the accolade in front of more than 150 delegates from the sector at the ceremonial dinner, which was held at the Sheffield City Hall. Adam Hoare, Managing Director of v-connect: “It’s absolutely fantastic to win the award. It’s great that the award recognises partnership as we believe the future for healthcare is more about partnership and collaboration rather than transactional behaviour – that’s the way the NHS needs to move forward.”
The award was won by the Renal Remote Clinic project which also featured in a recent poster presentation. The project, supported by Devices for Dignity through a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI), aims to provide a holistic approach to support for renal replacement therapy through the patient journey. The poster demonstrates the positive impact on outcomes for patient, carer and the health system as a whole.
